Title: A bioinspired peptidic approach to develop copper catalysts for sustainable oxidation reactions

Biography:

Dr. Olga Iranzo obtained her PhD in Chemistry (2003) at the University of Buffalo – SUNY (USA) and afterwards joined the group of Prof. Vincent L. Pecoraro as postdoctoral researcher (University of Michigan, USA). In May 2008 she became the Group Leader of the Peptide Design and Bioinorganic Chemistry laboratory at the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica António Xavier (Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal) and in January 2013 she was appointed CNRS CR1 researcher at Institut des Sciences Moléculaires de Marseille (Marseille, France). In 2021 she became CNRS DR2. Her research interests are focused on the development of bioinspired metallo-peptides for a healthy and sustainable future.
