Title: A short peptide motif forming a stable single-turn alpha helix upon interaction with Ag(I)
Biography:
Peter W. Thulstrup works with the Bioinorganic Chemistry of peptides, proteins and nucleic acids. He was educated at Roskilde University in Denmark with a dual MSc in Chemistry and Environmental Biology in 1999. Subsequently he obtained a PhD degree in Bioinorganic Chemistry in 2003 from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University on Frederiksberg, Denmark. He continued his career with post doc employment at Danish Veterinary Institute and at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). At the Department of Physics at DTU he became Assistant Research Professor before joining The Department of Chemistry at The University of Copenhagen where he is currently Associate Professor in the section for Biological Chemistry.
